She loves Catholicism and respects it.
I could never be with someone who protested it.
She doesn't have to accept it.
She loves God and that's all that matters to me.
She also loves Mary and Jesus.

Puerto Rica was the last to vote during the Democratic primaries.
Puerto Ricans must be extremely racist because they overwhelmingly voted (why even bother to vote when your votes don't count) for Hillary Clinton and not Obama. Not only that but Obama had the election wrapped up months before Puerto Ricans voted.

Cepha, congratulations! When is the wedding? Is she Catholic? No, she's Muslim!  She is Muslim? Really? Where did you meet her? Is she ok with you being Catholic? What does her family think about it? You know that Muslim Men are allowed to marry non-Muslim women, but Muslim Women are not allowed. Hopefully, her family isn't too religious or they might not like you. Sorry, just trying to warn you. But I guess if you love her that's all that matters. Are you going to get married at your Church? What did your priest say about it? What is her name? How old is she? You have to tell us more details. Does she wear a Hijab? Does she have a prayer rug that she carries around with her? If you have kids are you going to raise them as Catholics or Muslims? |

Alfie, let me ask you a question. Do you consider yourself to be a racist? How does having a shift in our country's ethnic demography make us "become another poor, third world country"? Cepha didn't just make that stuff up, and I can't wait until it happens. I hope to actively participate in making it happen. If you want the White Protestant population to increase, then just teach them to listen to the Catholic Church's teachings on birth control. Excuse me! There are an estimated 30 million illegal immigrants in this country. Unless you are willing to give one of these illegals your food stamps I don't want to hear it. And why should I and other Americans be required to pay welfare benefits to people who don't have the good sense to know you don't keep producing children when you can't provide for their basic needs? Is is O.K. for Italy to restrict immigration? Why not allow all of the Albanians (who are Moslems) to immigrate there? Italy passed laws restricting ilegal Albanian immigrants to come there after close to 2 million of them came into the country. Do you support those laws passed by a Catholic country? Do you feel the same way about ilegal Moslems immigrating to Italy as you do ilegal Mexicans coming to America? The Italians passed these laws to protect their heritage and culture not because they couldn't take them in. There are more protestants than Catholics in this country. The population of this country I believe is around 240 million. There are around 80 million prods and 60 million Catholics so do the math 240- 140 = 100 million non Christians in this country. One hundred million non Christians + 60 million Catholics means Prods are also a minority group. So 80 million divided by 240 means they make up 33% of the population. This country started out protestant because the founders of this country were for the most part prods and the country had laws based on Judeo/ Christian values. My father was born in 1902 when 75% of the population was made up of WASPS. Today WASPS make up less than 25% of the population. Now the term WASP means anyone who is rich. So technically it no longer is a Protestant country. |

Opposing immigration is "not" wrong. There are 304 million Americans. Only 71 million are Catholic. The overwhelming majority of the rest are Protestants. Protestant's make up 52% of the U.S. Population (more than twice the number of Catholics). So, that's about 150+ Million Protestants. For us (non-Wasps), Wasps still are "White Anglo Saxon Protestants". But that's just a sector of Protestantism and doesn't include all the minority Protestants. So, Protestants, at 52% of The Population of the United States (with Catholics being the closest at only 24%) are not only the ruling religion here (even if Catholics didn't vote with them, which we do), but are also the largest group of Christians here. We just happened to be the largest "one" Church here. ;D |
