Hi Watchman----------------
Where or what do you believe heaven to be?
As for hell, folk die and go to hell every day
Psa 16:7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. Psa 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psa 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. Psa 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Psa 16:11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Hi Watchman-------------------
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city : and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
what do you make of these verses?

Satan will be bound for the Millenniual reign and then released to deceive those that have been raised in the Millennium so that they can have a choice, those that choose satans side as well as satan himself will be destroyed. That already happened. Revelation 12 tells us that this happened when Jesus was born, lived, then assumpted to Heaven. For 1,000 years, Christianity was united. 1,000 years "after" Satan was released from "in" the earth what happened? Then came The Great Schism when it split into two bodies (Catholicism and Orthodoxy which were broken off "from" Catholicism). That was the beginning of Satan's attack on The Church. And we have what we have now (30,000 denominational churches). Those who've ha these choices could've either chosen the universal Christian Church or any of the number of denominational churches that exist. There are two sides...the "one" Church that has existed since the beginning of Christianity and that God chose to reveal The Holy Bible to or the other churches that were founded by human beings. Good thing God judges us by our decisions and not neccesarily our churches. Just being a Catholic certainly won't save you and being a non-Catholic Christian certainly won't condemn you.

Are you a preterist Cepha? Yes! I believe in Peter! LOL! Just kidding...I've read that somewhere. What is that? And does it fall under the category of "If I have to ask..."? ;D

a preterist believes that all the events in revelation were fulfilled at the destruction of Jerusalem and that the second coming is past

a preterist believes that all the events in revelation were fulfilled at the destruction of Jerusalem and that the second coming is past Then the answer would be no. I believe that part of Revelation was written in present tense. For example, the whole "whore of babylon"/"best" stuff, clearly references to the Jewish collaboration with Rome to crucify Jesus (the beast's number, 666, is proven to be Nero who was persecuting Christians at that time, who was literally killing The Saints; Church Leaders). Rev 12 for example, just about every event can be explained as the life story of Christ (birth, persecution, assumption, etc...) and the establishment of His Church. Here's a link to my "opinion" on Revelation 12: fideidefensor.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=scripture&action=display&thread=93Why don't we have a "scripture" study on Revelation? We can go Chapter by Chapter starting at: Revelations Chapter 1, Verse 1. I always find that I learn more with people of different backgrounds who have different views of the same scriptures. My eyes have been opened up to new ideas and new ways of looking at things. That's one of the things I love about being Catholic. I can talk to anybody about anything scripturally and they don't have to be wrong for me to be right and vice/versa.
