Come on now...edit that. And...it's a big deal because she's almost always voted for Pro-Lifers on Life issues so it'd be great if she got in and Catholics would have a majority of 6 Justices on the court (with the remaining 3 being 2 Protestants and one Jew).

anyone want to explain what's going on? They have a Hispanic person hanging from a tree like a pinata (reminicent of lynchings) with a "crowd" of Republicans getting ready to beat her with sticks. The picture also has President Obama wearing a Hispanic hat. This was put in a newspaper in Oklahoma and when asked why the artist did it, he said that since everybody's talking about her being a "Latina", he thought he'd make fun of it.

That's why The Republican Party is shrinking so fast. The Moderates are abandoning it and becomming Independants now. I bet you that if President Obama does a poor job, the next President will be an Indepentant.

well maybe im an independent cause i dont think that is right... Wow! According to The Washington Times, only 23% of Americans call themelves Republicans today! The percentage of Americans who identify themselves as Republicans dropped from 30 percent in 2004 to 23 percent this year - while the percent identifying themselves as "conservative" remained virtually unchanged, said a new study from the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press. www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/may/22/republican-favorability-falls-in-latest-pew-survey/

I think I've always been an Independent. Maybe, IDK...doesn't really matter to me. I used to think I was an Independent. But now I'm a full fledged born-again Democrat! ;D

I just said it doesn't matter to me because I am not really into labels. Except "Christian" of course. I know what I believe and will vote accordingly.

Marcie, Yeah I don't know very much about certain topics. But I know about some topics...like abortion, gay marriage, immigration, Israel, etc. All of these topics you just mention the democrates are on the opposite side of God (except maybe immigration) yet cepha claims to be a full fledged born again democrate. That means that cepha is fully fledged opposed to God on these particular issues

From what I've heard, there are all different "degrees" of democrats and republicans. From far left dem to far right dem, far left rep to far right rep. Dems believe all sorts of different stuff, as do Reps. I think that's why I call myself "independent".

A full fledge democrate is pro choice, pro gay marriage, and anti Israel, not I do notknoe what a far right democrate is but a full fledge democrate is pro choice, pro gay marriage, anti Israel, and truthfully anti God and anti Christian. This is what cepha claims to be.
